Hey, guess what? Tim Cook just teased some awesome new iPads in a live announcement today! Apple revealed a whole new lineup of iPads and accessories that are geared towards making AI-related tasks faster and easier. Tim Cook even said that this is the biggest day for iPads since they were first introduced. Exciting stuff, right?
So, what exactly did Apple announce at this event? Well, they introduced a new Apple Pencil Pro that pairs perfectly with the new iPad Pro and iPad Air devices. You can now squeeze the pencil to bring up a selected tool, and it even has a gyroscope for precise control. Plus, with the FindMy feature, you can easily locate it if you misplace it. And don’t worry about losing it, because just like the previous version, the Pencil Pro carries and charges magnetically.
The Magic Keyboard also got a makeover to be thinner and lighter, perfect for the sleek new iPad Pro. It comes in two sizes, with the 11-inch starting at $299 and the 13-inch at $349. Super stylish and functional, right?
As for the iPads themselves, the new iPad Pro will have a display using two OLED panels called Tandem OLED, available in silver and space black. It also has the new M4 chip, making it four times faster than before. The camera got an upgrade too, perfect for document scanning. The iPad Pro will be available next week, with the 11-inch starting at $999 and the 13-inch at $1299.
The new iPad Air now comes in two sizes, an 11-inch and a 13-inch, both with the M2 chip. It’s got some cool features like the front-facing camera being on the landscape edge, spatial audio, and new color options like blue and purple. Storage options now include 512MB and 1T. The 11-inch iPad Air starts at $599, and the 13-inch at $799.
But wait, there’s more! Apple also announced updates to Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. Final Cut Pro now has a live multicam feature and a new app called Final Cut Camera for iPhone and iPad. Logic Pro has new drums and effects, and can even use machine learning to model sound in detail.
Overall, it seems like Apple really stepped up their game with these new iPad updates. If you’re a creator, you’re going to love all the new features and improvements. And don’t forget, the Worldwide Developers Conference is coming up in June, where Apple usually announces even more exciting things. So, stay tuned for more awesome news from Apple!
